Police arrest PO and notorious offender involved in multiple fraud and cheque bounce cases

Malerkotla Police have arrested Rupam Sharma, a proclaimed offender from Jalandhar, wanted in about fifty cases across Punjab and neighboring states. Sharma, who operated R S Agro, was primarily booked for fraud, cheating, and cheque bounce offenses, including a case in Malerkotla from 2023. The court has remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody.
